Our beautiful pilgrims hostel will be for sale from the second half of the 2024 season. The hostel has a capacity of 12 people. Guests have a choice between the spacious dormitory or one double room with private external bathroom.

The hostel license has the qualification Albergue Superior with the maximum number of 3 shells. The sale includes a separate bar license for the same premises. This bar permit provides the opportunity to generate additional income by offering lunch, snacks and drinks to passing pilgrims who do not stay overnight.

Dimensions and characteristics

The year of construction 2013 means new installations and a minimum of maintenance. You can open the doors immediately after the takeover! With its 200 m2, the bar-hostel is very spacious and offers a lot of personal space per pilgrim compared to other hostels. In addition to the more than 200 m2, spread over 2 floors, there is a large terrace of 55 m2. Including the large garden with 2 sinks for hand washing and a well, the entire plot is 503 m2.

The ground floor consists of the kitchen (12.8 m2), private guest room for single or double occupancy (9.3 m2), bathroom with toilet (5.7 m2), bar and dining room (48.8 m2), lounge with fireplace (22 .7 m2), the living/bedroom of the owners/hosts (19.8 m2) and the boiler room/storage room (10.0 m2).

The first floor is divided into the following areas: dormitory (43.5 m2), stairs and aisle (12 m2), lounge area (8.15 m2), 2 sanitary rooms of 9.75 m2 each consisting of 1 toilet, 2 showers and 2 sinks and 1 storage cupboard (1 m2) for bedding, etc. Maps are included at the bottom of this page.

Heating by means of underfloor heating on the ground floor and radiators on the upper floor.

Business opportunities

The bar-hostel is located on the Camino Francés, the most popular and busiest route to Santiago. The walking path runs directly past the hostel. The village of Boadilla del Camino has a total of only 2 hostels (including this one) and 1 hotel. Various travel guides indicate Boadilla del Camino as the start and end point of a stage. Many of the pilgrims who spend the night 6 kilometers away in Frómista walk through Boadilla around lunchtime.

The hostel is sold with associated inventory such as dormitory beds, associated furniture, refrigerators, washing machine and dryer and kitchen appliances. The owners’ personal belongings are not included in the sale.
